Golden Buggy is a doggy adventure bus! 🚌🐾 We pick up friendly pups, take them on safe, supervised adventures with social time and play, then bring them home happy and tired. We also offer themed meet-up cruises for pups who enjoy car rides and social time but prefer a calmer, lower-activity experience — a great option for senior pups.

Yes! We welcome all friendly, social dogs — not just goldens. As long as your pup is people-friendly, dog-friendly, and safe in a group setting, they’re welcome to join the Golden Buggy.

Please understand that not all dogs are a suitable fit for our group-style adventures. Our top priority is safety and harmony within the pack. If a dog shows signs of fearfulness, reactivity, or aggression during their evaluation, we may not be able to accommodate them at this time. We’re always happy to recommend next steps or re-evaluation once they’re more comfortable around other dogs.

Absolutely! Once we’ve met your pup during a first-time ride or meet & greet, we can safely handle pick-up and drop-off while you’re away — just share any gate code or key spot ahead of time.

We service the East Valley and surrounding areas through scheduled, zone-based routes. Our service areas are divided into zones based on location and ride type: • Colored zones indicate areas eligible for home pickup • Gray zones indicate meet-up ride options If you live in a gray zone, you’ll meet us at a designated bus stop location rather than receiving home pickup. These meet-up rides still include the full Golden Buggy experience — including cruising, social time, and park adventures — just with a central meet-up instead of doorstep pickup. Availability and meet-up locations vary by route and day. Most adventures last 1.5–2 hours. Classic home pickup rides may last up to 3.5 hours depending on the route and group size. 🐾

Nope! Once you’ve joined the Golden Buggy family, you don’t need to fill out the form again unless your dog’s information has changed. Returning customers can simply text us to book their next ride — quick and easy!

Safety always comes first at Golden Buggy. Every pup rides securely buckled in using a properly fitted harness attachment, and our team is trained in pet first aid. We always have at least two team members on board, including a handler in the back supervising the dogs, providing water, comfort, and monitoring group behavior throughout the adventure. Pups are always leashed when entering and exiting our private, fully fenced parks for added safety. Our bus is climate controlled to keep pups cool and comfortable, and we carry emergency safety supplies and a dog first aid kit on every ride. All new riders go through a temperament check to help ensure a safe and positive experience for every pup onboard.

Never! Each dog rides safely in their assigned seat with a harness — no kennels, just comfy, secure spots with friends. For everyone’s safety, we do keep an emergency gate and soft muzzles on hand, but they’re only used if absolutely needed to keep pups calm and protected.

We rely on owners to ensure their pups are healthy and up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccines, including rabies as required by Arizona law. By joining a Golden Buggy ride, you certify that your dog is current on their vaccines and safe to participate in group activities.

No, we do not require pups to be spayed or neutered. We understand many veterinarians recommend waiting until a dog is fully developed before altering, especially for larger breeds. However, all pups must be friendly, non-reactive, and able to safely participate in a supervised group environment. If your dog is in heat, we kindly ask that you wait to schedule until their cycle is complete. Our team closely supervises all interactions during adventures to help ensure a safe and positive experience for every pup onboard.

Pups must be at least 6 months old and fully vaccinated before joining Golden Buggy adventures. This helps us create a safer and more comfortable group environment for all riders. Puppies should also be friendly, social, and comfortable around other dogs and people.

Yes, we offer small, dog-safe treats during the ride. If your pup has allergies or shouldn’t have treats, just let us know on your form — we’re happy to skip treat time or follow your instructions.

Your first pup is charged the regular ride price. If you have more than one dog joining the same ride, each extra dog is $35 (limit one per household). Simply list each of your dogs names on your application form — we’ll automatically apply the additional dog pricing for you.

We accept all major credit cards. Once an invoice is sent, payment is required to secure your pup’s seat. If an invoice isn’t completed and spots fill up, it may be canceled.

Same-day cancellations are subject to a 50% cancellation fee, as spots are limited and routes are planned in advance. No-shows or unavailable pickups may result in the full ride being forfeited. If a pup is unable to safely participate due to aggression or unsafe behavior during the initial temperament check, the ride will be refunded minus a $25 evaluation fee to help cover reserved space, route planning, and staffing time. We kindly ask that only friendly, social pups comfortable in a supervised group environment book adventures with us.

Golden Buggy operates seasonally from September through June. From September through May, we offer both home pickup adventures and meet-up style rides. During June, we transition into our seasonal summer scenic cruises and meet-up adventures before closing in July and August for our Doggie Summer Break.

The Golden Buggy can safely transport 12 dogs per trip, depending on their size and seating layout.Large dogs get their own seat, medium dogs share two per seat, and smaller pups can ride three per seat — all safely secured with harnesses.

We wish! But for safety and insurance reasons, the Buggy is a dogs-only ride. 💛🚌

Yes! We love celebrating pups 🐾🎉Birthday celebrations can be added to any regular Golden Buggy ride with our $15 Birthday Add-On. Just let us know your pup is celebrating when you apply!For a bigger celebration, our Private Buggy Bash starts at $450 for up to 10 dogs and lasts approximately 2 hours. Available throughout the East Valley, your pup and their chosen doggy crew will enjoy a private Buggy ride and playtime at one of our chosen private parks, with no outside dogs added to their group. Treats, pup cups, photos, live GPS tracking, and photo updates are included along the way.We can pick up the group from one home, or from homes within the same neighborhood or approximately a 3-mile radius. If everyone is spread farther apart, we’ll arrange one designated meet-up spot.Want to make your Buggy Bash even more special? Ask us about upgraded options like luxury private parks, a Buggy Box, themed setups, or having your human crew meet us at the park. Availability and pricing vary by setup, so contact us for details.We recommend reaching out at least 3 weeks in advance so we can check park, route, and date availability.

Every pup has a Welcome Aboard name tag above their seat, a fresh water bowl, and fun toys to enjoy. After each ride, you’ll receive a personalized report card highlighting your dog’s adventure. Treats like pup cups and peanut butter snacks are offered with owner approval — see your Pup Permission Slip for full details. Birthdays are extra special — pups get a birthday bandanna to keep, a birthday photo, keepsake gift, sweet treat, and a cheerful birthday song from our team! 🎉

Yes! Golden Buggy is known for our themed adventures and seasonal experiences throughout the year. From birthday rides and summer scenic cruises to holiday adventures, rave nights, special event rides, and photo-worthy themed setups, we love creating unique experiences that make every adventure feel extra special for our pups and their humans.

Due to limited seating and a high volume of applications from social media and referrals, some areas and adventure routes may currently have a waitlist. Our team carefully plans routes and groups based on location, temperament, adventure type, and availability to create the best possible experience for every pup onboard.
